Apple Watch: The Good and Bad - After 1 Month of Using it

Yesterday 2nd August 2015 is 1-month milestone for me using my Apple Watch.

And today I would like to share with you, my personal opinion about Apple Watch that probably can help you - if you are right now still deciding whether or not to buy the Apple Watch.

So, after a month of usage, I found that Apple Watch is pretty useful for me to:
1. Know the time. Of course! It's given.

2. Get notification and see them directly from my wrist and reply them directly also from my wrist - if the app has function to directly reply from Apple Watch

3. Catch up with my daily activity in relation to health activity: walk, move, stand up
Each and every hour, the Watch is reminding me to stand up and will give a praise if you did stand up. Personally I become motivated to always fill all the meters on the activity tracker.
See my activity record here:

4. Occasionally answering a phone call
If you ever been in this kind of situation, sorry for the example - you are on toilet and somebody is calling you and somehow you have to pick the call, then answering a phone call from the watch is become very handy rather than trying to reach your iPhone on the pocket to grab it and answer the call.

5. Easily change from 1 strap to another strap
Yes, changing strap on Apple Watch is super easy. You can change your strap on daily basis - assuming if you have quite many straps. From Apple official straps to 3rd party straps. All you need to have, especially if you bought the Apple Watch Sport model, is the Apple Watch Strap Adapter.

And here are things I found that Apple Watch is sucks:
1. 3rd Party app is slow
Yes, on Apple Watch with WatchOS 1.0.1, 3rd party apps runs slow when you open the app and run it from the Watch - especially the first time you execute the app. Although when the app is running the slowness is gone, but still it took quite long to load the app on the Apple Watch that sometimes makes me change my mind and directly close the app even before finished loading.

2. Battery is draining faster
If I use it only for tracking time and my activity, the battery can last about 2 days. However, when I start playing games or running apps then the battery can simply run out within hours.

So:
If you really fans of Apple: you should go buy Apple Watch
If you want to look cool: go buy Apple Watch - Sport edition is enough for you
If you want to look damn rich: go buy the Gold Edition Watch
If you think you need something to track your heath and want something fancy to show the tracking, you should go buy Apple Watch
If you have extra money and right now using iPhone: go buy Apple Watch. It's still a great piece of technology. Don't forget, Apple Watch has heart rate sensor.
If you are on budget and looking for something to track down your activity, check time, get notification: you should go buy something else like Pebble which is definitely cheaper compare to Apple Watch

Which one are you?
If you already have Apple Watch with you, what is your usage? Tell me in comments below.

Thanks!

Like to see your favorite apps or play your favorites games to your Apple Watch?
Follow these steps below to install them to your Apple Watch.

For more FREE APPS, FREE GAMES, FREE TIPS & TRICKS, visit:
http://myapplewatch.blogspot.sg/

Here is how to install Apple Watch Apps/Games to Your Apple Watch:
1. Make sure your iPhone iOS is at least iOS 8.3
Check your iOS version by going to iPhone Settings > General > About. Scroll down until you find "Version"

2. Make sure you have activated your Apple Watch

3. Make sure you are connected to your Apple Watch
Turn on your bluetooth by going to iPhone Settings > Bluetooth > Turn ON

4. Make sure you have installed your app/game on the iPhone, if not, install them first. And check whether the app/game have the "Offers Apple Watch App for iPhone" sign on it.
If the app/game have "Offers Apple Watch App for iPhone" logo, then you are good to go.
If the app/game don't have "Offers Apple Watch App for iPhone" logo, that means your app/game does not yet support Apple Watch instalation.

5. Make sure you have run the app/game at least once. If you just freshly installed the app/game, open them first.

6. Open "Apple Watch" app on your iPhone, and go to "My Watch" tab.

7. Scroll down until the last section and see if your app/game listed there. For freshly installed app/game make sure to run them at least once and wait for few moments until they are shown in the "My Watch" tab.

8. Once you see the app/game icon, click on the app/game icon, then "turn on" the "Show App on Apple Watch"

9. Once turned on, it will start installing the app/game, and depending on your app/game size to be installed, the installation process can take from few seconds to few minutes

10. Once the "installing..." has disappear from your iPhone screen, turn on your Apple Watch and go to the main menu, you should see the app/game now there on your Apple Watch

Enjoy running the apps or playing your favorite games on your watch!
At this point of time, based on my trial, the Apple Watch with Apple WatchOS 1.0 is quite slow when executing the app/game on the watch. So be patient and be merry!

Finally I got my hands on my own Apple Watch!

Yesterday was 30th June 2015, the day I got my own Apple Watch!

For those who are wondering why it take so long, because I live in Singapore. And I don't know why Singapore was not on the first batch country list - where Singapore usually is in the list of first batch country.

Went to Japan last time to try grab the Apple Watch because the fact at that time, Singapore hasn't launched the Apple Watch yet, I found some models sold there but not the one I wanted to. So in the end, I end up with nothing.

But never mind, now I got my Apple Watch already, hopefully in the next few days I can share with you guys my experience with it, all the tricks, all the apps and games.

To be honest from my personal experience, Apple Watch is not as simple as when I got my hands first time using iPod and iPhone.
Even as of now, I still don't know how to change the watch faces. Just managed to figure out how to check heart rate using the heart rate sensor.
