Apple Watch: The Good and Bad - After 1 Month of Using it

Yesterday 2nd August 2015 is 1-month milestone for me using my Apple Watch.

And today I would like to share with you, my personal opinion about Apple Watch that probably can help you - if you are right now still deciding whether or not to buy the Apple Watch.

So, after a month of usage, I found that Apple Watch is pretty useful for me to:
1. Know the time. Of course! It's given.

2. Get notification and see them directly from my wrist and reply them directly also from my wrist - if the app has function to directly reply from Apple Watch

3. Catch up with my daily activity in relation to health activity: walk, move, stand up
Each and every hour, the Watch is reminding me to stand up and will give a praise if you did stand up. Personally I become motivated to always fill all the meters on the activity tracker.
See my activity record here:

4. Occasionally answering a phone call
If you ever been in this kind of situation, sorry for the example - you are on toilet and somebody is calling you and somehow you have to pick the call, then answering a phone call from the watch is become very handy rather than trying to reach your iPhone on the pocket to grab it and answer the call.

5. Easily change from 1 strap to another strap
Yes, changing strap on Apple Watch is super easy. You can change your strap on daily basis - assuming if you have quite many straps. From Apple official straps to 3rd party straps. All you need to have, especially if you bought the Apple Watch Sport model, is the Apple Watch Strap Adapter.

And here are things I found that Apple Watch is sucks:
1. 3rd Party app is slow
Yes, on Apple Watch with WatchOS 1.0.1, 3rd party apps runs slow when you open the app and run it from the Watch - especially the first time you execute the app. Although when the app is running the slowness is gone, but still it took quite long to load the app on the Apple Watch that sometimes makes me change my mind and directly close the app even before finished loading.

2. Battery is draining faster
If I use it only for tracking time and my activity, the battery can last about 2 days. However, when I start playing games or running apps then the battery can simply run out within hours.

So:
If you really fans of Apple: you should go buy Apple Watch
If you want to look cool: go buy Apple Watch - Sport edition is enough for you
If you want to look damn rich: go buy the Gold Edition Watch
If you think you need something to track your heath and want something fancy to show the tracking, you should go buy Apple Watch
If you have extra money and right now using iPhone: go buy Apple Watch. It's still a great piece of technology. Don't forget, Apple Watch has heart rate sensor.
If you are on budget and looking for something to track down your activity, check time, get notification: you should go buy something else like Pebble which is definitely cheaper compare to Apple Watch

Which one are you?
If you already have Apple Watch with you, what is your usage? Tell me in comments below.

Thanks!

Finally I got my hands on my own Apple Watch!

Yesterday was 30th June 2015, the day I got my own Apple Watch!

For those who are wondering why it take so long, because I live in Singapore. And I don't know why Singapore was not on the first batch country list - where Singapore usually is in the list of first batch country.

Went to Japan last time to try grab the Apple Watch because the fact at that time, Singapore hasn't launched the Apple Watch yet, I found some models sold there but not the one I wanted to. So in the end, I end up with nothing.

But never mind, now I got my Apple Watch already, hopefully in the next few days I can share with you guys my experience with it, all the tricks, all the apps and games.

To be honest from my personal experience, Apple Watch is not as simple as when I got my hands first time using iPod and iPhone.
Even as of now, I still don't know how to change the watch faces. Just managed to figure out how to check heart rate using the heart rate sensor.
